Mrs. Jones has a beautiful flower and vegetable garden. Every day, her children like to help with tasks like pulling weeds, watering the flowers, and planting new seeds for more flowers and veggies to grow.
Mrs. Jones has lots of cheerful daisy flowers in her garden - she says they are such a happy little flower. They have a pretty white petals and a yellow center that look like a little face. Sometimes a pretty butterfly will stop by to visit the flowers and eat some of the nectar. The butterflies need the nectar for energy to fly around.
The garden also has carrots, peppers, and pumpkins. Mrs. Jones says the most important workers in the garden are her pollinators - bees! The bees will come by to collect and spread pollen so the veggies will grow and the flowers bloom bright!
Mrs. Jones needs to watch out for Oscar the squirrel! He's a mischievous fellow who just can't resist sneaking into the garden to nibble on the carrots.
Are you thinking you might want to start a garden and have fun adventures?
